Patsy (Kelly) Summerlin

Mrs. Patsy Kelly Summerlin, 79, of 600 Allen Street, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Sampson Regional Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held at, 2 PM, Friday, November 16, 2018 at Grove Park Baptist Church with

Rev. Mike Shook officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.  Interment will follow in the Clinton City Cemetery.

Patsy, born in Duplin County in 1939, was the daughter of the late Emmett Kelly and Ethel Smith Kelly.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sisters, Anise K. McKee, Gwyn K. Rhodes, and Lovey Walton.

She retired from the Clinton City School system with twenty-seven years of service.  She was strong in her Christian faith and led her family with these Christian values.

Survivors include: husband of sixty-three years, Donald Summerlin; children, Debbie S. West and husband Joe, Rick Summerlin and wife Dana, and Kathy S. Foster and husband Bret; grandsons, Jody West, Michael Summerlin, Stephen Summerlin, Grayson Foster and Garrett Foster; granddaughter, Jennifer Roach ; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Jeanette K. Evans.
