Mr. Orval Beasley, 82, of 3200 Hobbton Hwy, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at his home.

A funeral service will be held at 3 P.M., Friday, August 25, 2017 at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in the Clinton City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and at other times at the home.

Orval, born in 1934 in Johnston County, was the son of the late Robert Cleveland Beasley (R. C.) and Mabel Lee Beasley.  He retired from the Hwy Department after thirty-one years and was a member of Brown’s Baptist Church. 

Survivors include; wife of fifty-eight years, Carrie H. Beasley; daughter, Orval Rose Beasley; and sister,  Iris Lassiter of Aulander, NC.
