Mittie Kay Smith, 64, formerly of Clinton, passed away Friday, December 29, 2017 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

A visitation will be held from 2 P.M. – 4 P.M., Monday, January 1, 2018, at the home of her son, Darrell Smith, at 1230 Ozzie Road, Clinton, NC  28328.

Mittie, born in 1953 in Sampson County, was the daughter of the late Jesse Smith and Retha Lewis Smith.  She was a Respiratory Therapist at Sampson Regional Medical Center. 

Survivors include: son, Darrell Ray Smith and wife Julie of Clinton; grandchildren, Aaron Smith and Heather Hope; brother, Mack Smith and wife Tina of Fayetteville; sisters, Peggy Fryar and husband Glenwood of Clinton and Clyder Wells and husband Roger of Clinton; and several nieces and nephews.
