Maxwell Ivey Minnich, 65, of 709 North 4th Street, Wilmington, formerly of Clinton, passed away at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Monday, August 14, 2017.

A memorial service will be held at 11 A. M., Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home. 

Maxwell, born in 1952, was the son of the late John Minnich and Margaret Crumpler Minnich.  He worked as a plant manager in the manufacturing industry.   He served four years in the US Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, Palma LaSpada Minnich of Wilmington; son, Aaron Minnich and wife Brooke; daughter, Britni Minnich of Clinton; step-sons;  Mark Petz, and Thomas Petz of Dunkirk, NY; brothers, John Minnich and wife Judy  and Ed Minnich and wife Sandy; and six grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family request that one gives to their favorite charity.
