Clinton,
Luanna “Myrtle” Faircloth, 88, of 680 Indiantown Road, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Sampson Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 3 P.M., Friday, March 23, 2018 at Holly Grove Holiness Church with the Rev. Dr. Randy Simmons and Rev. Ricky Jacobs officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Myrtle, born October 31, 1929 in Robeson County, was the daughter of the late Luther Harry Wilkins and Cora Lee Hardin Wilkins. She was a homemaker and attended Holly Grove Holiness Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by; husband, Milton Faircloth; son, Chuck Dunning and step-son, Joey Faircloth; brothers, Henry Wilkins and Alton Wilkins; and sisters, Ludahlia Ammons, Sorrell Wilkins, Cora Sue Wilkins, Lucy Belle Brooks, Lessie Maynor, and Cassie Kowalcyk.
Survivors include: daughters, Gladys D. Faircloth (Jimmy) and Melanie Faircloth Walters (Darin); step-son, Billy Faircloth (Marge) ; sister, Sally Stewart; nine grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; and a host of great and great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 P.M. – 9 P.M., Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home, 118 Fayetteville St., Clinton, NC 28328 and at other times at her home.
