Clinton,
Karen Ann Fox, 61, of 906 Circle St., passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Rex Hospital.
A memorial service will be held at 3 PM, Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home, with the Rev. Leonard Henry officiating. The family will receive friends immediately after the service at the funeral home.
Karen, born in 1956 in LaFollette, TN, was the daughter of the late Joseph William Fox and Rosalee Allen Fox. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by a sister, Miki Suzanne Fox.
Karen was a coach and teacher at Clinton High School. Basketball, playing and coaching, was her love (not so much officiating). But more than the game, she loved all those people who played with her , against her and for her (her kids). The best part of her game was the opportunity to touch the lives of so many young people, to see them grow, but mostly to be touched by them.
Survivors include: mother, Rosalee A. Fox of Wilson; brother, Joseph William Fox III and wife Laura of Nappanee, Indiana; and sister, Connie Fox of Lewes, Delaware.
