Judy Faye (McCullen) Harrell

Judy McCullen Harrell, 74, of 1943 Ozzie Road, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 10, 2018 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh.

A funeral service will be held at 3 PM, Sunday, January 13, 2018 at Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Boney Mill Road, Clinton,  with Rev. Raeford Carter, Jr. officiating.  Burial will follow in the Clinton City Cemetery.

Born on May 22, 1944, Judy was the daughter of the late Bennie and Pauline Boyette McCullen.  She was a member of Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and her church family.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ray McCullen and Emerson “Shorty” McCullen

She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-six years, Larry Harrell of the home; sons, Kenneth Harrell, Greg Harrell and wife Patricia; daughters, Lisa Harrell, Julie Smith and husband Darrell, Deanna Barefoot and husband Tracey all of Clinton; grandchildren, Heather Hope, Carmen Hering, Zach Worley, Jenna Worley, Aaron Smith, Chance Barefoot,  Anna Harrell, and Jon Shelton Barefoot; brother, Durwood McCullen and wife Helen, Dale McCullen and wife Diane; sister, Joy Horrell and Wayne; and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 6 PM – 8 PM, Saturday, January 12, 2018 at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home and at other times at her home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 863 Boney Mill Road, Clinton, NC  28328.
