Please accept my heartfelt sympathy on the passing of your loved one. May God almighty father of tender mercies continue to comfort you all (2 Corinthians 1:3, 4). Please know that God has promised to completely remove death, tears, morning outcry and pain (Revelation 21:4). The bible also provides assurance of the resurrection hope for our dead loved ones at John 5:25. May God continue to strengthen you all. Please find more words of encouragement at www.jw.org

Joyce was working the Dispatch Center at Dunn Police Department when I got hired there in 1993. She was the first person there to take me in like she has always done with most strays. I didn't hardly get to see her when she left to Dunn Police and moved away. She loved everyone and all God's creatures. She is loved and missed. My heart breaks to think of her not being there, even on Facebook. I know I will see her again someday in Heaven. I love you Joyce. And I hope and pray that knowing she's happier with Jesus than she ever was down here will give all of her family and friends peace.

To sherrill and Shelby: lifting you and your family in prayer and asking God to provide you with encouragement and strength. You are still much loved here.
For my Bootie, Boggle, BooBoo, Boomer,
Most precious of friends...heaven has made great gain this week with your presence. I hope your pocketbook is with you because I don't care what anyone ever needed... you always had it in that pocketbook. Looked like Walmart inside there. You were always so "in place" with that lipstick on. So beautiful with your sparkly eyes. You set an example for us all with your steadfastness as a Christian.
I am so honored to have had your friendship all these years and you have "pressed on to the mark of the high calling of Christ Jesus." See you again one day Boots. Fran

I just read the sad news of Joyce passing. As a retired trooper of the State Highway Patrol, Johnston County, I met her back around 1992 or 93 when she was dispatching radio traffic at Benson PD, and since then always considered her a dear friend and person. We were able to continue our friendship even after I retired from the NCSHP, because as a current member of the NC National Guard, I still saw her whenever the Comm Ctr was moved here to JFHQ where she was working just before retirement. Regrettably, I was away on military orders when she retired just a few years ago from the Patrol Communications Center, and wish that I could have hugged her goodbye before she left. Always a smile whenever I saw her and very appreciative, never heard her complain about anything. She always made me feel welcome and she will be missed by not only me, but all who knew her. Blessings and continued prayers to the McGee family during this most difficult time

Sincerely & Very Respectfully,
Dwight Green

Sending my sincere sympathy to all of Joyce's family. She and I were elementary and high school friends. I got to see her several years ago at our H.S. reunion. I remember Joyce as kind and sweet. We enjoyed many a conversation on the bus from Turkey to Union. RIP my dear sweet friend. Anna Moore Bradshaw
