John Everette Boyette, Sr., 83, of 394 N McCullen Road, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Mary Gran Nursing Center.

A graveside service will be held at 11 A.M., Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, in Faison, with Reverend Mike Shook officiating. 

John, born in 1934 in Sampson County, was the son of the late Howard Boyette and Janie Boyette Bass King.  He was a sales clerk with the Town of Faison.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by; wife, Jerusha Tart Boyette; son, John E. Boyette, Jr.; son-in-law, Neal A. Daughtry; and brother and sisters, Edith Breshears, Joann Harris, Nadine Lohr, Thomas Boyette, Ernest Boyette and Leon Boyette. 

Survivors include; daughter, Sheila B. Daughtry of Garland; and grandchildren, Rick, Christopher and Kylie Daughtry.

Memorials may be made to Piney Grove Baptist Church, 1818 N McCullen Road, Faison, NC  28341.

The family will receive friends from 6 P.M. – 8 P.M., Friday, July 13, 2018 at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home, 118 Fayetteville St., Clinton, NC  28328.
