James Silas Tyndall

James Silas Tyndall, 68, of 4962 Hobbton Hwy., passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side, Saturday, September 22, 2018.

Funeral service will be held at 11 A.M., Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home, with the Rev. Rickey E. Dawson, Sr. officiating.  Interment will follow in in the Clinton City Cemetery.

James, born in 1950, was the son of the late Elwood Silas Tyndall and Cornelia Bass Tyndall.  He was the owner and operator of Tyndall Plumbing Company.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by wife, Rebecca Mason Tyndall and grandson, Zachary Bryan Howell.

Survivors include; children, Samantha Jean Tyndall Howell (Paul), William James Tyndall (Alieen), Christopher Tyndall (Kaitlyn), and Mary Ann Tyndall Carter (Kaleb); grandchildren, Austin Bryan Howell, Mason Carter Stewart, Ansleigh Grace Carter, Tiffany Marie Tyndall, Jennifer Lynn Tyndall, Ashley Michelle Tyndall, Preston Wayne Tyndall, and  William James Tyndall, Jr.,; Seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Janie Wilson (James Marvin) of Stedman, Ann Davis (Jerry) of Clinton, Faye Starling (Robert) of Autryville, Peggy Anderson (Wesley) of Ellerbe, Ercelle Adams of Roseboro, and Carnell Brady of Greensboro;  and several nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6 PM to 8 PM, Monday, September 24, 2018 at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
