Gary Layne Raynor, 63, of Wellington Park, 329 Cooper St., Kenansville, formerly of Clinton, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017.

A funeral service will be held at 3 P.M., Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home, with the Rev. Brooks Grimes officiating.  Interment is to follow in the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery.    The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home.

Gary, born in 1954, was the son of the late Kenneth MacDonald Raynor and Mary Frances Holland Raynor.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth MacDonald Raynor, Jr.  He was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church.  Gary graduated from Union High School in 1973 and attended NC State.  He was a loyal Spartan and a Wolfpack fan.

Survivors include; sister, Sarah Raynor Blue of Clinton, May Ann Raynor Styons of Jacksonville, and Dana Sue Raynor Adams and husband Pritchard of Haiti; sister-in-law, Debbie Raynor; and several nieces and nephews. 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Rehoboth Ministries, at The Lord’s Table, PO Box 11049, Goldsboro, NC  27532 and earmark:  Haiti.
