Clinton: Mr. Henry Franklin Vann, 84, died at his home Friday October 19, 2018. A funeral service will be held 2PM Monday at Sharon Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Ken Turner and Rev. Paul Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park. Mr. Vann was a native of Sampson County and the son of the late Elliott Lee Vann and Mattie Vastie Waters Vann. He was a farmer with Henry Vann Farms and formerly worked with Kivetts and member of Sharon Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Gary Frank Vann, II; two brothers, Herbert Vann and Freddie (Coonie) Vann; two sisters, Rebecca Vann Royal and Marie Vann Edwards. He is survived by his wife Cherry Earline Edwards Vann of the home; three sons, Gary Vann (Roberta), Dennis Vann (Dawn), Ed Vann (Jane); grandchildren, Tiffany Core (Brandon) Tawnya Lockamy (Michael), Nicole Higginbotham (Shannon), Nelson Vann, Josh Autry (Samantha), Jenny Wilson, Andrea Davis (Corey Harmon) Joshua Vann, Kimberly Cox (Tyler), Emily Vann and Sarah Vann; 12 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; four brothers, Sam Vann and wife Linda, Johnny Vann and wife Rose, Paul Vann and wife Dianna and Ralph Vann and wife Jean; and two sister-in-laws Hattie Jane Parker Vann and Willa Vann Holland. Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Men’s Ministry of Sharon Pentecostal Holiness Church, 2137 Odom Road, Clinton, NC 28328.
