Mr. Frank Henning Fransen, 82, of 415 Lisbon Bridge Rd., passed away Saturday, June 16, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 20, at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home with the Rev. David Page officiating. Interment will follow in the Harrell’s Cemetery.
Frank, born in Milbank, S.D. was the son of the late Christian Fransen and Elizabeth Wilson Fransen, and was the husband of Reba Tackett Fransen. He worked in the automotive parts industry and was a member of New Life Baptist Church in Clinton.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Reba T. Fransen; son Frank Fransen, Jr. of Wisconsin; daughter Debra F. Haines of Va.; brother Richard Fransen of South Dakota; sister Marge Shults of Kentucky; grandchildren: Jessica Albers, of Illinois, Frank Fransen, III of Texas, Holly Cardoza of Illinois, Ana Haines and Avery Haines both of Va.; and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 6-8 P.M. Tuesday, June 19, at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home.
