Frances Epps Butler

December 1, 1923 ~ May 25, 2018 (age 94)

Turkey, NC Mrs. Frances Epps Butler, 94, of 24 West Railroad St. passed away Friday, May 25, at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton. A funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday, May 30, at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home with Pastor Lynn Blackburn officiating. Interment will follow in the Turkey Baptist Church Cemetery. Frances, a native of Sampson Co. was the daughter of the late Edward Epps and Frankie O’Quinn Epps. She was the widow of Wilton Joseph Butler and Milton Moses Butler. Frances was also preceded in death by her daughter, Helen Butler Denton and daughter-in-law Betty Jean Butler. She retired from Clinton Sewing and attended Clinton Family Worship Center. Frances is survived by: a son Jimmy Butler and wife Mavis of Warsaw; grandchildren: Letitia Butler, Jim Clark Butler, Jr, Dean Clark Butler, Heather Butler Vallario, Angela Fortney, Tina Denton; 20 Great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren, and a son-in-law Bobby Denton. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service 10-11 A.M. Wednesday, May 30, at the funeral home and other times at the home, 24 West Railroad St. Turkey, NC.
