Eleanor Gertrude Ragan, 87, of 801 Dixie Trail, passed away Friday, December 14, 2018 at Morningside of Raleigh.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home, 118 Fayetteville St., Clinton, NC 28328, with Reverend Leanne Calhoun officiating.

Eleanor, born in Sampson County in 1931, was the daughter of the late Linwood D. King Sr., and Ethel Sinclair King Darden. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Linwood King, Jr.

Eleanor was an Executive Secretary for the American Cancer Society.

Memorials may be made to Hudson Memorial Presbyterian Church, 4921 Six Forks Road, Raleigh, NC 27609.
