Edna Doris (Wilson) Taylor

Roseboro, NC Mrs. Edna Doris Wilson Taylor, 80, of 93 Mitchell Loop Rd., passed away Friday, April 20, 2018 at Southwood Nursing and Retirement Center in Clinton. A graveside service will be held at 11 A.M. Monday in Grandview Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Ricky Lee officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday evening 6-8 P.M. at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home and other times at the home of her daughter 202 Ellen St. Clinton, NC. Doris, born in Sampson Co. was the daughter of the late Kirby Wilson and Iula Vann Wison Taylor. She was preceded in death by her husband Omar “Oman” Taylor, sister Ruby Jones; brothers; Kirby Wilson Jr. and Johnny Wilson. She previously worked for Sampson Sewing and farmed. She is survived by daughters; Lisa Tyndall and husband Michael and Joyce Peterson (Kenneth) ; grandchildren: Michelle Peterson Perry and husband Jamey, Kevin Peterson and wife Dana, Brandon Pope and Travis Pope; great-grandchildren: Kash Perry, Brandon Lee Pope, Jayden Pope; brothers, Steve Wilson and wife Carolyn, James Wilson and wife Pauline and Daniel Wilson; a sister, Mary Ann Naylor; several nieces and nephews; her Southwood roommate Ruth Artis and special fur baby Mitzi.
