David Stewart Precythe, 19 February 1949 to 20 April 2017

A memorial service will be held Monday at 3 at the Faison Methodist Church. Entombment will follow at the Faison Cemetery.

David Stewart Precythe, President of Southern Produce Distributors Inc. passed away on April 20, 2017 surrounded by family and friends.  Mr. Precythe a native of Duplin County, was the son of the late Harold S. Precythe and Lois Williamson Precythe.  A man of great integrity, loyalty and dedication he was a recognized leader in the produce industry.  Mr. Precythe was the foundation for his family, friends and his community for over 45 years. 

He is survived by one son, Kelley Stewart Precythe, of Wilmington and his wife Patricia Linares, of Faison.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 10 p.m. Sunday at 173 Park Circle in Faison.
