Rev. Bobby Edward Ammons, 69, of 1546 Indiantown Road, passed away at his home, Wednesday, December 13, 2017.

A funeral service will be held at 1 P.M, Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Holly Grove Holiness Church with the Rev. Randy Simmons, Rev. Mike Cummings, Rev. Ricky Jacobs and Rev. Wilbert Lee Ammons officiating.  Interment will follow in church cemetery.

Bobby, born in Collidge, VA, in 1948, was the son of Reverend Wilbert Lee Ammons and the late Alice Maynard Ammons.  In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by brothers, Wilson Ammons and J. D. Ammons.  Bobby was a barber and a member of Holly Grove Holiness Church. 

Survivors include; wife of fifty years, Carrie Jacobs Ammons; children, Robby Edward Ammons, of Asheville and Julie Ammons Cardin (Tank) of Lillington; father, Rev. Wilbert Lee Ammons; biological mother, Ellen Whitehead Wyatt; grandchildren, Kaleb Cardin and Aliyah Cardin; sisters, Joann Simmons and Gladys Lynch; and brother, Julius Ammons.

The family will receive friends from 7 P.M. – 8 :30 P.M., Friday, December 15, 2017 at Holly Grove Holiness Church.
