I was informed of Uncle As passing this afternoon.
I told my girls and we all agreed that that riding around White Lake with him in his boat was the Hi-light of each day spent at the lake during the summer.
He was a man of few words unless he was trying to help with an electrical or mechanical problem.
My family's sympathies go out to his large Family and hope that the memories of him in his better days bring a smile for many years to come.

So sorry to hear of Powell's passing, thats what I called him.Our hearts and prayers go out to Judy and Family. When I was in the area, always tried to go by and spend some time with Powell and Judy. Powell and I were childhood playmates. We had some great times together, spent nights together, and as little boys, took baths together in bath tub.
Judy & Powell introduced my late wife Janice of 56 years on a blind date, which I was so thankful for. Gonna miss you Powell, God Bless.

Will never forget our summer vacations to White Lake he taught me how to water ski and I will admit as hard as I tried could never get as good as he was on skis, trust me he was good. A.F. was also the smartest person I ever meet when it came to trouble shooting and repairing anything electrical never took anything to him that he did not fix and he would never take any pay for fixing it, but most of all I am honored for just knowing him and being able to call him my friend.
