Adell Thompson Creech, 93, of 1141 Underwood Road, Roseboro, formerly of 6005 Dave Bright Road, Faison, passed away at the home of her daughter, Thursday, May 4, 2017.

A funeral service will be held at 6 P.M., Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home with the Reverend Danny Johnson and Reverend Tod Creech officiating.  The family will receive friends immediately after the service at the funeral home and at other times at the home of her daughter at 1141 Underwood Road, Roseboro.     Interment will be held at 2 P.M., Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Devotional Gardens in Warsaw, NC.

Adell, born in 1923 in Wayne County was the daughter of the late George Braston Thompson and Mittie Myrtle Edwards Thompson and was a homemaker.  She was a member of the Beulah Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Milton Creech; daughter, Carolyn Faye Creech; ten brother and sisters; and one grandson, Jason Lee Register.

Survivors include children; Jerry Thomas Creech (Sally) of Four Oaks, Judy Creech Owen (Bobby) of Roseboro, J. W. Creech (Cindy) of Faison, Janice Creech Wood (Pat) of Faison, and Joyce Creech Owen (Scott) of Roseboro; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren, brother, Haywood Thompson (Melba) of Mt. Olive; and sister, Nina Franks of Angier.
