Terry Martin Ammons

Terry Martin Ammons, 66, of 245 Hanson Road, passed away, Monday, December 26, 2016 at the home of his daughter. 

A funeral will be held at 2 P.M., Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home with the Reverend Ken Simmons and Reverend Ricky Jacobs officiating.    Interment will follow in Grandview Memorial Park.

Terry, born in Sampson County in 1950, was the son of the late Junie Purvis Ammons and Laura Jane Bryant Ammons.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Purvis O’Neil Ammons.   He retired  with the City of Clinton.

He is survived by his wife of forty-one years, Helen Allen Ammons; children, Patricia Ammons Nelson, Jody Ammons, Junie Ammons, Hope Dale and Nicky Brewington; sixteen grandchildren;  five great-grandchildren; and  brothers and sisters, Anthony Lane Ammons, Donald Junior “Don” Ammons, Sr, and Yolonda “Coot”  Smith.

The family will receive friends from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M., Friday, December 30, 2016 at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home and at other times at 341 Hanson Road, Clinton.
