Robert (Bob) Leonard Goldberg, 80, 107 McArthur Lane, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Sampson Regional Medical Center.

A funeral mass will be held at 2 P.M., Monday, October 10, 2016 at the Immaculate Conception Church with Father Joseph Dionne officiating.   Interment will be Friday, October 14, 2016 at Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery.

Bob, born in 1936 in Washington, DC, was the son of the late Frank Goldberg and Ary Elizabeth DeWalt.  He was a business owner and served in the US Army.   After retiring he was a driver for Nissan of Clinton.   Bob attended Immaculate Conception Church and was a Royal Knight in the Knights of Columbus.    In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife; Maureen Kohl Goldberg; son, Tony Goldberg; brothers and sisters, Ida Nichols, Frank Goldberg, Mildred Forest, David “Sonny” Goldberg and John “Butch” Goldberg.

Survivors include children; Tommy Hosselrode and Deanna Hercik; grandchildren; Brandon, Collin and Blake Hosselrode, Joshua West, Brian Hercik and Callie Hercik, Jillian Cartagena, Christina Goldberg, Sarah Gibson, A. J. Goldberg; five great-grandchildren,  brothers and sisters; Betty Springirth, Harry Dewalt, Aaron Goldberg, Ivy O’Neil, and Ethel Turner.

Visitation will be held Monday 12 noon - 2 PM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
