Oscar Glenn Holland

Turkey, NC Mr. Oscar Glenn Holland, 66, of 76 Union Rd., passed away Saturday, November 26, 2016 at his home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 28, at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Ron Bryan officiating. Burial will follow in The Turkey Cemetery. Glenn, born in Wayne Co. was the son of the late Oscar Calton Holland and Minnie Coleen West Holland Andrews. He was also preceded in death by a brother A.J. Lane. Glenn was a propane truck driver with Wellman Oil Co.a member of Turkey Baptist Church and a Veteran of the US Army. Glenn is survived by: his wife of 46 years, Louise “Skeeter” Boone Holland; son, David Holland and wife Angelica of Maryland; brother, Jerry Holland of Rocky Point; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family will receive friends 1-2 P.M. the hour prior to the service Monday at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home and other times at the home 76 Union Rd. Turkey, NC.
