Nellie (Nell) Gray Myers Williamson, 82, 2025 Hobbton Hwy, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Rex Heart and Vascular Hospital surrounded by friends and family.

A funeral service will be held at 3 P.M., Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Epworth United Methodist Church with the Reverend Dorothy Rudd officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:30 P.M. – 3:00 P.M., Saturday, just prior to the service at the church.   Interment will follow in Grandview Memorial Park. 

Nell, born in 1934 in Johnston County, was the daughter of the late Ether Myers and Maybelle Myers.  She worked at Sampson Regional Medical Center in the business office and retired with over forty years service.  She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by; husband, Preston E. Williamson; brothers, Tom Myers and James Myers; and sisters, Evelyn Southerland and Lula Jackson.

Survivors include; daughter, Rhonda Spell and husband Bobby; grandsons, Justin Spell and wife Kristen, and Gavin Spell and wife Haley; great grandson, Ryan; sisters, Dorothy Barefoot and husband John and Julia Vann.
