Nancy “Grey” Nethercutt, 76, of 213 Stewart Avenue, passed away Tuesday, May 31, at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, NC.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. , Friday, June 3, at Immanuel Baptist Church with the Reverend Tim Ameen officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:30 P.M. – 2:30 P.M., just prior to the service at the church, and at other times at the home of her son, 213 West Arrowhead Dr., Clinton, NC  28328.    Interment is to follow in the Clinton City Cemetery.

Grey, born September 17, 1939 in Sampson County, was the daughter of the late, Thomas Edison Honeycutt and Sudie Hall Honeycutt.  She was the former co-owner of Clinton Wheel Alignment.  She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Allen Nethercutt; brothers, Ernest “Son” Honeycutt, Bobby Honeycutt, John Honeycutt, Curtis Honeycutt, Tom Honeycutt; and sisters, Melva Ray Willis and Louise Goins.

She is survived by her son, Jeff Nethercutt and wife Lisa of Clinton; grandsons, Hunter Nethercutt of Clinton, and Collin Nethercutt of Raleigh; step-granddaughter, Katie Hall and husband Caleb of Clinton;  and step-grandson,  Patrick Jones of Clinton; great-grandson, Lawson Hall; and one sister, Edna H. Bass of Clinton; and several nieces and nephews.
