I just learned of Max’s passing from a former coworker. I worked with Max in Virginia, and grew to like him a lot. He taught me a lot, and I had quite a few great conversations with him. I’m very sad to hear this news, and offer my condolences to his family.

Johnnie and Eddie,
I was so sorry to learn about Maxie's death. My brother, Gary, had read it in the newspaper and told me. It is difficult to lose a loved one , as I have just lost my sister, Linda, two weeks ago. All we can do is to think of the good memories and times spent with them. It is comforting to know that they are no longer suffering, but with God in Heaven. My prayers go with you both.
God bless. Remember, we will see them again. Isn't that wonderful to know!
