Marilyn Crumpler Naylor, 84, of 2391 Rabbit St., passed away Monday, January 1, 2018 at Sampson Regional Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held at 2 P.M., Thursday, January 4, 2017 at Piney Green Missionary Baptist Church in Salemburg with the Reverend Donald Keith Carter officiating.  Interment will follow in the Harnett Primitive Baptist Church cemetery in Roseboro.

Marilyn, born in Sampson County in 1933, was the daughter of the late Pirdie Crumpler and Lila McPhail Crumpler Butler.  She was a member of Piney Green Baptist Church and a homemaker.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband,  Leatrice Naylor.

Survivors include; children, Barbara Naylor Carter and husband John of Raleigh, Sue Naylor Driver of Newton Grove, Arthur Lee Naylor and wife Tammy of Clinton, and Sidney Keith Naylor and wife Tempa of Clinton; grandchildren, Jennifer Carter Hare and husband David, Bryan L. Carter, Donald Holland, Chris Driver and wife Allison,  Leslie Naylor Bartlett and husband Michael, Daniel Lee Naylor and wife Kelsey, Blake Naylor , Steven Naylor and Lindsey Naylor; and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 P.M. – 8 P.M., Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home and at other times at the home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Harnett Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o  Ronald Jackson at 128 Gordon Road, Clinton, NC  28328.
