Kenneth Darnell Pate, 49, of 2567 Hunter Road, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Wake Medical Center.

A private family graveside service will be held at 4 P.M., Sunday, October 2, 2016 at the Pate Family Cemetery with Reverend Dr. Penny Ziemer officiating.

Kenneth, born in Tuscon Arizona on December 24, 1966, was the son of Louis Ray Pate and Edna Kaye Hunter Pate. He was a farmer in Sampson County.

Survivors in addition to his parents are wife, Rhonda M. Pate; daughter, Camryn Darnell Pate; son, Kenneth Logan Pate; brothers and sisters, Chris Pate of Texas, Gina Pate of Clinton, Cliff Pate of Clinton, Cindy P. Stuppnig of Charlotte; special nephew, Travis Pate of Clinton;  and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association at PO Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA  23058-5216.

The family will be meeting at the home of his parents at, 2210 Hunter Road, Clinton, NC  28328.
