Kenneth Wayne Hope, 60, of 120 Southwood Drive, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Mary Gran Nursing Center.

A funeral service will be held at 2 P.M., on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Grace United Methodist Church with Reverend Tony Calhoun and G. W. West officiating.  Interment will follow in the Brown Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Kenny, born in 1957 in Sampson County, was the son of the late John Edwin Hope and Eva Mae Bass Hope.  He was a member and former usher at Grace United Methodist Church.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sisters, Betty Hope Raynor and Evelyn Hope Hobbs McCullen, and nephew, Johnny Hobbs.

Kenny is survived by brother Jerry Hope and wife Ann and nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

The family will receive friends 6 P.M. – 8 P.M., Friday, January 27, 2017 at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home and at other times at the home of his brother, Jerry, at 848 Pine Ridge Road, Clinton, NC  28328.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Grace United Methodist Church, 800 Smith Street, Clinton, NC  28328.
