Joyce Elizabeth (Boodle) McGee, 64, of 1851 Needmore Road, passed away Monday, May 29, 2017 at Wake Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at 6 P.M., June 2, 2017 at Clinton Community Church, 1901 Sunset Avenue, Clinton, NC, with the Reverend Dwight Dunning officiating.   The family will receive friends immediately after the service at the church.

Joyce, born in Sampson County to the late Owen Newsome McGee and Beatrice Willis McGee, was a retired NCSHP Tele communicator and a part-time Tele communicator for Campbell University at her time of death.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Owen McGee.

Survivors include; sisters, Melva Dean Johnson and Shelby Jean Boykin; and best friend and chosen sister, Heidi Wiseman; and chosen nephew, Hunter.
