Mrs. Josie Watkins Gresham, 93, died Friday, April 14, 2017 in Mary Gran Nursing Center.

A graveside service will be held 2PM Monday, April 17, in the Clinton Cemetery with Rev. Wilda Faircloth officiating.

Mrs. Gresham was born in Duplin County and was the daughter of the late Josiah and Ora Johnson Watkins.  She was the widow of Thomas Clayton Gresham, a homemaker, and a member of Clinton Community Church.  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rose Gresham and four sisters, Annie Oxendine, Laura Ellen Janes, Maggie Justice and Lucille Spivey.

She is survived by a daughter, Dianna Wood and husband Warren of Clinton.

 In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Clinton Community Church, 1901 Sunset Ave., Clinton, NC or the charity of one’s choice.

The family would like to thank Hospice and Unit 3 of Mary Gran Nursing Center for the care and compassion shown to Mrs. Gresham and a special thank you to Alene Royal her devotion.
