Gemma Rose Barker

Gemma Rose Barker, infant, of Clayton passed away, Monday, May 9th at UNC Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill.

A graveside service will be held at 3:30 P.M., Sunday, May 22nd at Harmony Baptist Church, 1357 Harmony Church Road, Clinton, with the Reverend Danny Powell officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 P.M. – 3:30 P.M., just prior to the service.

Gemma Rose, born in Orange County on May 9th, was the daughter of Alton Barker, Jr. and Lauren Frazier Barker.  

Surviving in addition to her parents are her twin brothers, Clinton and Mason; paternal grandparents; Alton Barker, Sr. and Wilda Barker; and maternal grandparents, Danny Frazier and Carol Richardson.
